For Annual policies outside of the ’14-day cooling off period’ there is a cancellation fee. Read our Terms of Business for more information.
We cannot backdate your cancellation request.
If you cancel an Annual policy early then you will forfeit any No Claims Discount you have earned during the period you have been insured.
All cancellation requests need to be for a cancellation date within a 7 day period from today’s date.
It is an offence under the Road Traffic Act 1988 to leave, drive or otherwise use your vehicle on a public highway without valid insurance cover being in force, unless you’ve registered your vehicle off the road (SORN) with the DVLA by visiting www.gov.uk/make-a-sorn.
Please note if you cancel your policy and have an open or fault claim, we’re unable to issue a refund and the full balance will be due. However, if your claim is later closed as non-fault, we may reassess your entitlement to a refund.
